RatioReady
For Etsy sellers shipping listings, not just mockups

The whole listing kit, not just the mockup step.

Most mockup tools ship a mockup file and stop there. Ratio Ready ships the print-ready files, the mockups, the listing video, the buyer-ready PDF, and the Etsy listing draft — in one batch, for the price of a coffee. Bring your own PSD templates if you have them.

One batch

files + mockups + video + buyer PDF + listing draft, ~60 seconds.

From $15

Boost pack: 1,000 credits, 60 days. No subscription, no auto-renew, no card-charged surprise.

Your PSDs

work as-is. Bring your existing smart-object templates, drop them in, render.

A different category, not a better mockup tool

Dynamic Mockups, Placeit, and the rest are excellent at what they do — render a mockup file from a PSD template. Ratio Ready is positioned differently: we ship the complete listing kit in one batch. So this isn't a feature war on mockup quality — it's a question of whether you want one tool that does the whole listing or four tools you stitch together.

In every Ratio Ready batch RR Mockup-only tools
Mockups composited from your PSDs
Print-ready files (5 standard frame ratios at 300 DPI) — separate tool
1:1 listing video for Etsy's video slot — separate tool
Buyer-ready PDF (prevents "I can't open the zip") — write your own
Etsy listing draft (mobile ≤70 char title, semantic, ChatGPT Shopping–shaped) — write your own
listing.json sidecar with JSON-LD Product schema — scrape PDF text
Print-Ready Receipt (max sharp print size per file, verified) — guess and hope
Pricing model Credits — pay when you ship Monthly subscription

Comparison verified May 2026. If your workflow needs the largest curated mockup catalog, Dynamic Mockups and Placeit win on that. If you want to ship the whole listing in one batch — Ratio Ready.

Bringing your existing PSD templates over — about 20 minutes

If you've built up a PSD template library on any tool — Smartmockups, Photoshop folders, Mockey, in-house — Ratio Ready accepts the same smart-object PSDs without conversion.

  1. Find your PSD folder. Most sellers keep custom PSD templates in a single Dropbox, Drive, or local folder — usually 30–80 files. If you don't have your own PSDs, skip to step 4 and use the bundled templates.
  2. Verify each PSD has a smart-object layer named PLACEHOLDER. Open one in Photoshop, check the Layers panel for a layer with a smart-object icon (small page-fold marker). If yours uses a different name (e.g. ART, INSERT, DESIGN), batch-rename via Photoshop's Layer menu — takes 10 seconds per file.
  3. Drag-drop into your Ratio Ready Templates page. Each upload is validated server-side; a green check means it's ready, a red X means a fix is needed (almost always the layer name). Templates are stored privately on R2; nobody else sees them.
  4. Build your mockup sets. Group templates into named sets (e.g. frames, lifestyle, flat-lay) — up to 4 sets, each with as many templates as you need. When you submit a wall art batch, you pick which set to render against.
  5. Run a test batch. Drop one image, pick your set, hit submit. The composited mockups land in your zip alongside the print files, listing PDF, video, and buyer PDF. Total cost for the test: about 60 credits, ~$0.60.

Who Ratio Ready is for

Wall art print sellers

Want one batch to ship the entire listing — five frame-perfect ratios, mockups, listing video, buyer-ready PDF, and 2026-algorithm-shaped Etsy listing copy — instead of stitching together a mockup tool, an upscaler, a video maker, and a manual readme. Bring your own PSDs or use the bundled library.

Seasonal POD sellers

Pay heavily during launch weeks and barely at all between them. A monthly subscription to a mockup tool you don't use 8 months of the year is a margin killer. Credits match the actual rhythm — buy a $30 pack, ship 30 listings, walk away when the season ends.

VAs and freelance designers

Bill clients per project, not per month. A subscription fee paid 12 months a year for client work that lands in 3-month bursts is overhead you can't bill through. Buy a credit pack per client, bill it through, done — predictable and clean.

What sellers ask first when they evaluate Ratio Ready

"Will my existing PSD templates really work without rebuilding?"

Yes. The compositing engine reads the standard smart-object layer pattern that Photoshop, Smartmockups, Mockey, and most other PSD-based mockup workflows produce. If a layer is named PLACEHOLDER (or you tell us the layer name), your design lands inside it the same way — same blend modes, same shadow layers, same lighting. Failure rate in our test of 200+ community PSDs was under 5%, and every failure was a missing layer name (rename in Photoshop, re-import).

"How does Ratio Ready compare to Dynamic Mockups or Placeit on mockup quality alone?"

For PSD-template smart-object compositing — at parity. The output quality on the mockup file itself is the same. Dynamic Mockups and Placeit have invested heavily in larger curated mockup catalogs, so if your workflow needs the most mockup template options, they win on that. Ratio Ready's edge is everything that wraps the mockup: print files, listing video, buyer PDF, listing copy, listing JSON, print-ready receipt — all bundled in the same batch. Different category, not better-at-the-same-thing.

"What if Ratio Ready disappears?"

Your PSDs live on your hard drive — we hold a copy on R2 for processing, never as the only source. We publish a one-click "export everything" endpoint so you can pull your full template library down at any time. After Smartmockups shut down, every seller learned the same lesson: never trust a vendor as your single point of failure. We try to never be in that position with you.

"How does pricing work if I have a really busy month?"

Top up — Boost $15 (1000cr / 60d), Stack $30 (2140cr / 120d), Studio $75 (5770cr / 180d). Per-credit cost drops as you go up. The largest pack works out to ~$0.013 per credit — a typical wall art listing (5 ratios + mockups + PDF + video + listing copy + free watermark + 300 DPI) costs 40 credits ≈ $0.40 on Pro subscription ($0.52 on pack credits). Even at peak velocity you're paying per listing shipped, not per month.

Smartmockups switch questions

Not sure your design is sharp enough for print mockups in the first place? Drop it into the free Print-Ready Check first — it tells you the largest size your image will print sharp before you spend any credits. For walking through the print sizes themselves, the frame size finder and poster pixel calculator are also free.
