Creative Credits are the currency you use to process images. Each operation costs a set number of credits — for example, a clipart JPG bundle of 1–5 images costs 10 credits ($0.10 on Pro), and a single wall art listing (5 ratios + mockups + video + Etsy PDF + free watermark + 300 DPI all bundled) costs 40 credits — that's $0.40 on Pro, $0.44 on Growth. Credits come with your monthly subscription plan and refresh each billing cycle. Check the pricing page for current plans and per-operation costs.

You can upload JPG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, and HEIF/HEIC images. Output format depends on the operation: clipart with transparency is saved as PNG, while wall art, posters, and mockups are output as high-quality JPG. All outputs are set to 300 DPI for print.

Individual images can be up to 50 MB. In batch mode, you can upload up to 50 images at once. Clipart batch images can be any aspect ratio (square, portrait, or landscape) — the only constraint is that the longest edge is at least 1024 px.

Clipart processing takes your image, resizes it to a print-ready dimension (2048 or 4096 pixels), and sets it to 300 DPI. It auto-detects transparency and outputs PNG for transparent images or JPG for opaque ones. You can optionally generate a listing preview image with a watermark for marketplace listings.

Upload one image and Ratio Ready generates 5 aspect ratio variants automatically. It detects whether your image is portrait or landscape and produces the appropriate set of ratios (2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 11:14, and ISO). Each variant is center-cropped with no stretching or distortion, and all outputs are 300 DPI JPG.

Mockups use PSD templates with smart objects. Your artwork is placed into the smart object layer of each template to create realistic product photos. You can build up to 4 custom mockup sets from the template library, and all mockups in a set are generated in one batch.

AI upscaling enlarges low-resolution images to print size without losing quality. It supports 2x and 4x scaling and automatically detects when your image needs upscaling based on the target print size. In clipart batch mode, upscaling is applied automatically to images that are too small — no extra settings needed.

Yes. The clipart and upscale tools support batch processing with 1 to 50 images per batch. All images in a batch share the same settings (print size, preview options, watermark). When the batch completes, you can download a ZIP archive with organized print and preview folders, or access individual files via the API.

Yes. Every output is 300 DPI — the standard required by Etsy, Amazon Merch, Printify, Redbubble, and most POD platforms. Clipart outputs are PNG with transparency preserved, wall art and posters are high-quality JPG. File dimensions follow the sizes print providers expect, so you can upload directly without any further editing.

The listing preview tool generates 2048-pixel JPG images at 72 DPI sized for Etsy listing photos. You can optionally add a text watermark for sample images. In batch mode, you get both the print file and the listing preview for every design in one pass — making it fast to prep an entire collection for upload.

Production runs are flat-priced per listing — wall art $0.40 on Pro ($0.44 on Growth), posters $0.35, clipart bundles from $0.10. Plans from $9/mo: Starter $9 (750 credits), Growth $22 (2,000 — the median sweet spot), Pro $50 (5,000). Every wall art, poster, and clipart job ships with print files, mockups, listing photo, video, copy-ready Etsy PDF, optional watermark on previews, and 300 DPI metadata all bundled — no checkbox surprises. Compared to an afternoon of Photoshop ($20+/hr in seller time), the production cost is rounding error.

Subscription Creative Credits refresh at the start of each new billing cycle — unused credits from the previous month don't carry over. If you cancel, your credits remain available until the end of your current paid period. The 75 free Creative Credits you receive on signup are yours to keep regardless.

Payments are processed through Fungies.io, which accepts major credit and debit cards. Your payment details are handled entirely by Fungies — Ratio Ready never sees or stores your card information.

Credits are automatically refunded for any image that fails to process. In a batch job, only the failed images are refunded — successful results are still delivered. You can also retry failed images without resubmitting the entire batch.

Yes. Ratio Ready provides a full REST API with the same capabilities as the web dashboard. You can process single images, run batch jobs, manage mockup sets, and check job status — all programmatically. The API uses JSON request and response bodies with Bearer token authentication.

Log in to your account and navigate to your profile page. You can generate a personal API key there. Use it as a Bearer token in the Authorization header of your API requests.

Absolutely. The REST API works with any HTTP request module, including Make.com and n8n. Upload images, poll for results, and download outputs using standard HTTP actions. The API docs include example workflows and recipes for common automation scenarios.

There is no hard rate limit on API calls. However, processing jobs are queued with a concurrency limit, so if the queue is full you will receive a 429 response. In practice, this means you can submit jobs rapidly and they will be processed in order.

Uploaded images are processed on the server and then deleted from temporary storage within approximately 30 minutes. We do not store your images long-term. All connections use SSL encryption, and batch ZIP files are stored in secure cloud storage with time-limited access links.

Yes. Contact us at support@ratioready.com and request account deletion. We will remove your account and all associated data.

You do. Ratio Ready claims no ownership or rights over the images you upload or the processed outputs. Your artwork remains entirely yours.

Yes. All payments are handled by Fungies.io, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Ratio Ready never receives, sees, or stores your credit card details. The checkout flow runs entirely on Fungies' secure infrastructure.
