Trigger Etsy listing creation from a Google Drive folder

Drop a design into a Google Drive folder. A Google Drive watch trigger detects the new file and fires a workflow in Make.com or n8n. The workflow sends the file to Ratio Ready for batch ingestion. Ratio Ready returns print-ready bundles, mockups, a 15-second 1:1 listing video (for wall art), and listing copy.

The workflow then pushes a draft to Etsy. You get an Etsy draft listing to review and publish. Per-listing time is predictable: ~2 minutes to upload and 3–5 minutes processing. This is a production system, not a helper script—built to move batches from design to draft fast.

Use Make.com if you want a hosted, plug-and-play option. The Ratio Ready Make.com blueprint is free and runs on Make.com's free tier (1,000 ops/month ≈ 80–125 listings/month). Use n8n if you self-host and need full control over data and runtime. Both can run a Google Drive watch trigger.

For maximum control, call the Ratio Ready REST API directly. The API works with n8n, Zapier, custom webhooks, or any code you host. Pick based on ops volume and how much control you need over metadata mapping and error handling.

• Create a dedicated Google Drive folder and point a Google Drive watch module at it.
• Map file fields and metadata (title, tags, SKU, product type). Decide job type: wall art, poster, or clipart batch.
• Send files to Ratio Ready. For wall art jobs select batch ingestion if you’re uploading multiple designs at once.
• On success, create an Etsy draft via the Etsy module. The draft contains mockups, listing copy, and a 15-second video for wall art jobs.

Self-hosted n8n gives you the same flow with more control. Create a Google Drive trigger node pointed at your folder. Add an HTTP request node to call the Ratio Ready REST API and push files for batch ingestion.

Map metadata in n8n and catch webhooks from Ratio Ready for job completion. When the job finishes, use n8n’s Etsy integration or an HTTP call to create an Etsy draft. This route is ideal for sellers running large automated batches and custom tagging rules.

Use the REST API for high-volume production. Send 1–50 images in a clipart batch or stream hundreds of wall art jobs from a CI pipeline. Clipart batch pricing starts at 29 credits and adds 10 credits per additional 5 images. Wall art jobs generate five print sizes (2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 11:14, ISO A1) at 300 DPI, up to 20 mockups, a 15-second 1:1 listing video, and a listing-copy PDF for 59 credits.

Posters are a separate job type: 1 print file at 300 DPI, mockups, and video for 55 credits. Posters are physical products and require an Etsy shipping profile; they do not include a Drive shareable link or customer PDF.
